This month we’re thankful for a lot of things, including all the creativity and exploration San Francisco has to offer. Here are a few events that’ll get you out and about to appreciate our city:

Illuminate SF Festival of Light

Throughout San Francicso

Ongoing

No need to stay inside as long winter nights approach. San Francisco’s fifth-annual Illuminate SF Festival of Light, a series of 36 eco-friendly light art installations that are all accessible from public transportation, celebrates the artistry of light. Touring these spectacular works of art will take you through 14 San Francisco neighborhoods, including new lightworks in the Castro, Golden Gate Park, Central Market and SoMa. Check the festival’s website for a list for upcoming festival museum tours and artist talks. We’ll see you there!

Renegade Craft Fair

Part community gathering, part artisan market, the Renegade Craft Fair is an exciting opportunity to tap into the local creative spirit. Its organizers, which hold curated fairs around the country, are dedicated to modern craftspeople, and San Francisco’s Renegade Craft Fair will feature more than 200 booths where artists will sell handmade goods and foods.

Don’t miss this San Francisco tradition, which is in its 54th year, by setting aside a few hours to browse the Big Book Sale.
