In honor of Women’s History Month, the Bayview/Linda Brooks-Burton Library will be hosting a special crafts session inspired by the work of Jie Qi. Jie Qi currently serves as one of the “tinkerers” at the Exploratorium where she likes to blend paper craft and personal expression with programming and electronics. During this creative session, participants will be able to channel their inner Jie by blending artistic creations with electrical circuitry using LEDS, conductive fabric tape, and circuit stickers.

Brew It Yourself 102: Full Grain Brewing in Potrero Hill

Located in the Comrades Brewing secret beer laboratory, this interactive, hands-on class will help you learn to brew your own craft beer with an advanced, full-grain brewing method. This is the only class in San Francisco where you learn from a professional brewer and take home beer that you made. Prerequisite Brew It Yourself 101 Class required.
